Should love be conditional on how you behave?

The way you act affects the way someone feels about you. You have to be too careful with other peoples emotions

What if the person you love murders people or hurts them badly. Can you continue to love them despite that level of bad actions?

No I think in that case love dies. Even when people continue to abuse your love through violence and torture your love has to change and the healthiest thing is for the love to die. A healthy love is like a flower it needs good actions and love to water it to flower. If you keep abusing it through terrible behaviours it will wither and die.

I think love can happen against all odds. We sometimes love people who don't treat us or others well and then we don't love those who adore & admire us. I think love can also blend with habit, dependency, tradition, lust. Maybe 'should' doesn't work for love?

Love by definition is not conditional, but you might not like them.

However, affection and the expression of love can often be conditional.

I don't think love is dependant on good behaving.

But good behaving creates the good conditions for enjoying love.

If God had no condition in his creation then why should people base on behaviors to love people

Its good to base on behavior to love someone because if we love them and yet they behave differently the one who behaves badly will not realize

Some people to love others you don't base on behavior but sometimes on relationships like mother and child they sometimes base on a child's performance at school

Should a parents love for a child not be unconditional and always there? You might be disappointed or angry in the child for bad behaviour but the love would not end

Love should not be conditional. However, in some cases, people need to reconsider it. If some people behave badly or unstably for society, you may not be able to love truly. In that case, you should not just ignore and not love the people but you can just teach them how to behave.

Do you think love can change people and make them behave better?

Yes, because if you feel loved by somebody, you may think that you want to love them back or want to be helpful for the people who love you.
