How can we create a peaceful world without violence?

By having people spend more time together and listen to one another.

But also by having safeguards in place to protect people in case they are at risk.

By talking instead of fighting, everybody should be calm not frustrated.

Everybody should have the same amount of money and food by sharing.

If people are feeling angry or violent - they should take some deep breaths and go and do other things and not keep arguing.

People should also not drink too much alcohol.

  1. We can achieve this through practicing and sharing of thoughts and knowledge towards yourself, your loved ones, acquaintances to everyone in the world, including those who might wish you harm.

If we can try to explain our being open minded to each other it helps others understand you hence creating peace.

This is possible by taking into account any small conflict that may arise say in a family or with anyone around you in the society through embracing a win win conflict management strategy in our societies and not retaliating as the saying goes 'an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind'

By watching our attitudes towards others can help achieve a violence free society since discipline begins us  . This is because most violent  acts have occurred due to the differences in our feelings

By sensitizing the community about the values and traditional endogenous practices that led to cultural violence for example female genital Mutilation that has affected many women and girls.

By educating the community about the significance of girl child education can help get rid of violence acts they face like sexual violence where girls have been looked at as the un lucky section to education and thus many have been forced into early marriages.

By raising voices for the powerless  through political leaders and human rights activists to harness our situations we are able to achieve a  peaceful world without violence

It's impossible - humans are by nature violent. We have to accept they will not manage to be completely peaceful.

However they can be less violent by showing them other coping strategies when having disagreements.

I believe that alcohol and drug taking make violence worse. If we reduce or eliminate these practices then we can be more peaceful

By loving unconditionally, because if we love. We feel pity, we are patient and forgiving. Love is key to create peace.

1. Having hope in life ie having a mentality that there's is still abundance in life when you fail in something
2. It should begin in childhood by teaching the child the importance of being kind to animals, vulnerable people like the homeless

We can't. Humans are violent. That is our nature.

I like in this country we don’t have many guns. That helps. Knives are too easy to buy. Registering / regulating things like hunting knives might be an idea.

Although anything can be used as a weapon. I guess. I think a system to punish people that step out of line needs to be firm but fair also.
So you know you’ll be in trouble if you are violent to other people.

Violence breeds violence. If the government use violence to control people the only recourse people have is violence. If people are controlled by tolerance and can see that there can be control by consent life could be much better.

As many posts have already mentioned - dialogue and communication is vital. It is not just the ability to be able to express your thoughts and feelings calmly but even more importantly, to listen and to try and understand the other point of view. You do not have to agree. Developing understanding and knowledge is critical.
